April 12-16, 2010.
Heidi and I decided to get out of town and absorb some sunshine for our birthdays, so we grabbed a flight to Tucson.
We stayed at Ventana Canyon Resort for a few nights. The hotel was great and the golfing was even better. Heidi slept in and soaked up the sun by the pool while I joined a bunch of old guys.
This little lizard didn’t stand a chance with this road runner.
One afternoon we drove to Kartchner Caverns State Park. They don’t allow photos, but it was an incredible place. I definitely recommend it.
A few days later we moved to the Tucson Paloma Westin, which had really nice pools and grounds. Pretty dang nice.
One day we drove out to the Sonoran Desert Museum. I highly recommend it. Great animals and a beautiful landscape. It was starting to get hot, which was great!
I got the opportunity to play at Dove Mountain, which is where they play the annual PGA match play tournament. It was one of the best courses I’ve ever played. Spectacular.
